Topic: Special ASTD Employee Learning Week Lunch Bunch!
We are making a slight change to the Lunch Bunch schedule, in honor of ASTD’s Employee Learning Week, but will return to our usual 3rd Monday of the month schedule starting in January.
ASTD Employee Learning Week is December 7 – 11. Last year, Rotary participated for the first time with a contest, reception, newsletter, and proclamation, and received the designation of “Champion of Learning” from ASTD. In honor of Employee Learning week 2009, join us for a special Lunch Bunch to learn how Rotary International trains and develops both employees and Rotarians, and what we have planned for this year’s celebration.
Representatives from both the Learning & Organization Development Department and the Leadership Education and Training Division will be the guest speakers, and we invite you to come and share your ideas and best practices as well.
Bring your own lunch or purchase something at Rotary’s Café International (lower level). There is also a Subway and a Potbelly Sandwich shop across the street.
Room Location: the location is Room 12B. Take the elevator to floor 12, go towards the door that says “International Meetings” and follow the signs to room 12B.
Transportation/Parking: Rotary is accessible by the CTA Purple line and Metra rail (Davis Street stops). There is a large hourly parking structure at the intersection of Davis and Benson. Some street parking may be available. Rotary has a parking structure on Grove Avenue, but is typically filled early in the day by employees.
